Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Lucille Dorrington was once an actress for Thanhouser, according to the 1917 and 1918 editions of the Motion Picture News Studio Directory.

Biographical Notes: Lucille Dorrington was born in Denver, Colorado in 1897 and was educated there and in Seattle, Washington. Her stage career included playing in Denver stock and in vaudeville in Crackers, Danny, and other productions. Her screen career, according to the 1918 edition of the Motion Picture Studio Directory, included work with Metro (The Eternal Question, Spell of the Yukon), Thanhouser (The Girl Boy), Moss, Universal, and Popular Plays and Players (Corruption), and Erbograph (Little Miss Fortune, The Little Samaritan). (Note: The present writer has traced no Thanhouser film titled The Girl Boy; possibly another film was intended or it may have been a working title. Bluebird released a picture titled The Boy Girl in March 1917.)

Miss Dorrington was 5'5" tall, weighed 116 pounds, and had a fair complexion, reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. Her pastimes included horseback riding, swimming, classic dancing, and violin playing. Her home address in 1917-1918 was 618 West 146th Street, New York City, and her studio address was 203 West 146th Street, New York City.
