Volume III: Biographies
Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Kenneth Clarendon was an actor and a director with Thanhouser in 1914 and 1915.
Biographical Notes: It is believed that Kenneth Clarendon's nickname was Hal, and he was the subject of the following notice in Variety, November 12, 1915: "Hal Clarendon, the director, has severed his connection with the Thanhouser forces last Saturday, after spending some time with that concern. Clarendon was immediately engaged by the S.B. Moss picture forces to direct their new production of One Day, based on Elinor Glynn's novel of that name."
The New Rochelle Pioneer, May 15, 1915, stated that Kenneth Clarendon was in The Patriot and the Spy. The same newspaper, issue of July 14, 1915, stated that Hal Clarendon, formerly associated with Thanhouser and also the Famous Players Company, had rejoined the Thanhouser studio as a director and was being assisted by W. Eugene Moore, Jr.
