Thanhouser Career Synopsis: At one time Bert S. Frank was an actor with Thanhouser, according to the 1918 edition of the Motion Picture Studio Directory.

Biographical Notes: Bert S. Frank was born in 1879. He followed a stage career in stock and vaudeville and, among other appearances, was seen in The Great Divide. His screen career included work with Vitagraph, Thanhouser, Kalem, Pathé, and Fox. In 1917 the Motion Picture News Studio Directory noted that he was 6 tall, weighed 190 pounds, and had a dark complexion. At the time his agent was Kirmmse, Inc., West 40th Street, New York City.
