Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Cecil Lyndon was an actor with Thanhouser at one time, according to the 1918 edition of the Motion Picture Studio Directory.

Biographical Notes: Cecil Lyndon was born in 1888. He followed a stage career in vaudeville and stock, and appeared in such productions as Brown of Harvard and Wildfire. By 1917 his screen career included work with Thanhouser, Kleine, and Vitagraph. The Motion Picture News Studio Directory of that year listed his height as 5'9" and his complexion as fair. At the time he was represented by Kirmmse, Inc., 105 West 40th Street, New York City.
