Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Chris. J. Krooss was a Thanhouser employee in 1914 and 1915.

Biographical Notes: Chris. J. Krooss was chairman of the Elks' Lodge in New Rochelle, in the autumn of 1914. The Thanhouser Club, organized by Thanhouser employees, held its meetings in a special room in the Krooss residence in New Rochelle. In 1914 and 1915 he was proprietor of the Westchester House, at 246 Main Street, New Rochelle. At the time his residence was at 40 Guion Place.
