SHALLENBERGER, John F.

Investor (1912-1916)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: John F. Shallenberger, brother of Wilbert E. and William Edgar Shallenberger, was one of three Shallenberger brothers who provided financial support to Charles J. Hite and his associates for the acquisition of the Thanhouser Company in 1912. Unlike his other two brothers, John F. Shallenberger did not actively participate in the management of the Thanhouser Film Corporation. John F. Shallenberger was also associated with his brothers in 1916 in the Arrow Film Corporation and in April 1916 was elected vice-president.
