CHAMBERLIN, Belle *

Actress (1913)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Belle Chamberlin appeared in a Thanhouser film in 1913.

Biographical Notes: Belle Chamberlin was born in 1873. Her main career was on the stage in operas, but she did appear in films, including limited work for Thanhouser. In 1917 she was a contralto with the Boston Opera Company. Her married name was Belle Ellsler. She died in Hollywood, California on October 12, 1930. Her brother, Riley Chamberlin, was a prominent Thanhouser actor, primarily in comedy roles.
