Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Frank O'Neill was a member of the Thanhouser stock company of players in 1911 and 1912. In January of the latter year he went with other Thanhouserites to Jacksonville, Florida.

Biographical Notes: The Thanhouser actor may have been one of the following: 1. Frank O'Neil (sic), whose real name was James Barter Freel, was an actor and vaudeville player who was seen in films for the Vitagraph Company. He died in New York on December 8, 1917. This may have been the Frank O'Neill who came from Ireland to play in the Lew Fields vaudeville stock company. 2. Frank O'Neill, who at one time acted in films, died on March 15, 1975.
