Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Rose Keir was an actress with Thanhouser at one time, according to the 1917 edition of The Motion Picture News Studio Directory.

Biographical Notes: Rose Keir followed a stage career with Francis Wilson, John C. Fisher, and Klaw & Erlanger. Her screen career included work with Equitable, Ocean, and Thanhouser. She must have been with Thanhouser for just a short time and in minor roles, for she was not featured in publicity. The 1917 edition of the Motion Picture News Studio Directory noted that she was 5'2" tall, and had a medium complexion, red hair, and brown eyes. At the time she was represented by Edward Small, Inc., whose address was the Putnam Building, New York City.
