BENZ, Pere Amelia

Studio employee (1914-1917)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Pere Amelia Benz, a clerk and wardrobe mistress for Thanhouser in New Rochelle, worked for the studio circa 1914-1917. She later married Howard H. Robinson, a Thanhouser cameraman (to whose listing refer for additional information). New Rochelle directories give her address in 1916 and 1917 as 48 Harrison Street. In 1918 she lived at 5 Rose Street. The same house was shared by Margaret Benz.
