Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Charles E. Maltby was co-author, with H.B. Maltby, of a 1914 Thanhouser film scenario.

Biographical Notes: In late January 1913, Charles E. Maltby completed arrangements to sell his property, the Columbia Garage, on East Main Street, to the Thanhouser Film Corporation, which had been using it as a temporary facility after the disastrous fire which swept its studio on January 13th. In 1914 Maltby lived in New Rochelle on Broadview Avenue.
