Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Moses H. Harriman was an actor with Thanhouser in 1914 and appeared in a film released in 1915.
Biographical Notes: Moses H. Harriman was born in 1861 (one account says 1867). He followed a stage career with Clifton, Hackett, Paul Gilmore, Payton, and Poli stock. His screen career is said to have included work with Thanhouser, World, Peerless, and Fox. A 1917 directory noted that he was 5'9" tall and had a medium complexion and gray hair. At the time he was represented by Kirmmse, Inc., West 40th Street, New York City. Moses H. Harriman died at the Percy Williams Home in East Islip, Long Island, New York, on September 16, 1928. His obituary in Variety stated that he was 73 years of age and had appeared on the legitimate stage for 40 years. His last role was in 1912 in Nothing But Lies, according to the same account.
