Marie Rainford was the stage name used by actress Mrs. Arthur Ellery (to which listing refer for biographical data and her Thanhouser filmography). In Thanhouser credits both Marie Rainford (primarily) and Mrs. Arthur Ellery designations were used, as the company seemed to lack a firm policy in this regard.
