ADVERTISEMENT, The New York Dramatic Mirror, January 8, 1913:
A tale of a meek little clerk who is made a fearless hero simply through possession of a charm which he believes to be Napoleon's Luck Stone. And then it turns out to be a - !
REVIEW, The Moving Picture World, January 25, 1913:
This story of the timid clerk who thought he had found the luck stone of the great Napoleon, only to discover later that it was an onion, gets hold of the observer strongly on the first part. The part of the clerk would have been a little stronger in the latter half without so much of the burlesque touch, but the interest is held throughout.
