Volume II: Filmography
(Mutual Program)
September 15, 1916 (Friday)
Length: 2 reels
Character: Drama
Cast: Madeline and Marion Fairbanks, Blanche Davenport
Notes: 1. This was a left-over film, released on the Mutual Program, made before Thanhouser was affiliated with the Pathé Exchange, Inc. 2. Madeline and Marion Fairbanks were designated as "the famous Fairbanks Twins" in Mutual Program publicity and in an article in The Moving Picture World September 9, 1916. This was in contradiction to wishes expressed earlier by Madeline and Marion (and duly noted in trade journals) that they no longer be referred to as the Fairbanks twins or the Thanhouser Twins.
REVIEW, The Moving Picture World, September 23, 1916:
"A wholesome two-part story, nicely staged, which will please both children and adults. The sentiment of the picture is simple and charming, and the production can be recommended to any theatre."
