SYNOPSIS, Reel Life, September 5, 1914:

"Marion and Madeline, girls of twelve years, the twin daughters of Travis, a well-to-do farmer, are very fond of animals, but their father strongly disapproves of them. Carlo, a stray collie, lame and starving, is found by the two children and brought to their home, where they make much of him. When their father discovers what they have done, he orders the dog away, but the children care for him in a secluded spot on the farm. Their kindness is amply justified when Marion falls in the water and Madeline summons the dog to her assistance. He springs into the water and brings back to safety his little friend. The father then learns the value of this particular animal, and gladly consents to have the dog remain on the farm."

REVIEW, The Morning Telegraph, September 6, 1914:

"A stray dog, brought home by Travis' children, saves his little daughter Marion from drowning. Then he agrees to allow them to keep the collie."

REVIEW, The Moving Picture World, September 19, 1914:

"A simple but effective film story in which the twin girls make friends with a collie dog. Later the dog rescues one of the girls from drowning. The scenes are well taken and there is a pleasing sentiment in the story."
